Starter Microscope?
Discussion
My wallet raping seven year old has a birthday looming & has expressed an interest in a microscope, presumably to look for what remaining money I have left.
It's been 30 years since I had one and frankly, I wouldn't know one from another. Any recommendations for one that won't break the bank or my heart if it were to end up on the pile of unloved toys & gadgets? Preferably with slides & stuff & whatever else you get with them nowadays.

One of these that plug into the computer: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Veho-VMS-004-Discovery-Mic...
OK, it's not a pro microscope, but it'll give him a close up view of many household items, in a way that the classic 'scope could not. This video shows many, I think from a Canadian home.
