TechDemoSat in Orbit
Discussion
Hi All,
This is very exciting for me, hence im posting it - it may be of some interest to others!
My wife designed and built (with her PHD students and other staff) the de-orbit sail payload for this satellite; which is a totally UK creation from Surrey Satellites carrying all sorts of cool demo payloads doing everything from cosmic ray detection to sea roughness measuring.
I vaguely helped with the initial idea and building the test springs and arms from tape measures and paper, so feel like I can talk about it
