I was just watching QI and these things things came up in a question. No motors or electronics they look alive!

Very clever but they will just blow downwind until they hit an obtscale (unless they can tack of course!)

They do look great, though I was more impressed with the working model made from a 3D printer. Didn't realise those things could make things with moving parts.
