As you all probably know his story isn't a happy one, especially in his later years and some recognition for his achievements would be nice.
Also, command and conquer wouldn't have been the same without him.

I recently went to the Nikola Tesla museum in Belgrade, which is very interesting if quite small and a bit pricey for what it is. The Serbs definitely celebrate him- as well as having the museum (he said in his will that he wanted his archives to be in Belgrade) they've named the international airport after him and put him on their money:
