A Level Physics Tutor Needed
Discussion
Hi guys, wonder if you can help?
My eighteen year old has had a disastrous two years at sixth form with his physics course. A litany of non attendance by the course tutor, inept teaching and so forth has ultimately led to the tutor being sacked.
My lad and others in his class are painfully aware of how adrift they are.
CarsieJnr needs two AA and a B for his course and he thinks he'll struggle with the physics. He's predicted A in maths and Art.
Can anyone help? - Skype + Dad's pocket are on offer
If you can't help I'd be grateful if you pass the request on.
Thank you.

I might be useful as a last resort. Not done physics since school (28 now)but have an engineering degree, and I've been trying to get myself back up to speed as I want to start a physics OU course in the next couple of years, funds permitting.
But I'm far from an actual physics tutor.

Why not get him to post a series of questions on here, each relating to a topic that he is really struggling with, and we could offer some "exam busting" tips between us.
One of my "colleagues" in my class of 1986 (when I was doing Physics A Level) must have struggled. One question was "describe the construction and uses of a variable wire sonometer".
His answer, I will always remember :
"The variable wire sonometer can be easily converted into a bass guitar for plenty riffin' and slappin'"
