When I went out to look at the ISS pass earlier I noticed that Venus, Mars and Jupiter were all clearly visible and impressive. Admittedly I've not done much stargazing for a few years but I wondered how common it was to have 3 bright planets about at the same time?

Very clear tonight as well, dark over the English Channel too; Venus in this one I think:

Yes Venus - and Jupiter was just to the left and above.

Nice shots, have you thought about trying a range of ND filters and balancing out the exposure time to catch some more [bright side] detail?

Trick is to avoid star trailing.

Saw Saturn for the first time last night, had to wait up till gone midnight but it was worth the wait, looked amazing.
