United Launch Alliance has delayed the Delta 4 launch 24 hours to Thursday, at 8:07 p.m. EDT. High winds at the launch pad have delayed preparations sufficiently that they can't be ready for the required launch window.

NASA Television will provide live coverage of the next launch and docking of an unpiloted Russian cargo spacecraft, Progress 61, to resupply the International Space Station Thursday, Oct. 1. NASA TV coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. EDT. ( 17:30 BST I think )
