Its a 2.2 with two extra cylinders ie. Known, parts available etc..
the actual engine that will be in the car when complete is having forged pistons, custom rods, billet cams and the block pinned etc..
Fair enough then the actual engine that will be in the car when complete is having forged pistons, custom rods, billet cams and the block pinned etc..
There is an Impreza hillclimb car down here with a twin-turbo EZ30 that goes very well and sounds amazing.

Is this going to be a TA car? If so why the flat 6 - drive out of slow speed corners?
Seems an odd choice given the increased weight and cost, when the four pots can make big power.
If it's just because then - Well done Sir!
Road, track, sprint etc replacing my current classic with a 4 pot. Seems an odd choice given the increased weight and cost, when the four pots can make big power.

Different and next step really current flat4 with a gt35r without nos is about as laggy as I am willing to go but 665bhp is not enOugh lol
So flat6 an alternative route.

Sounds a sensible, if very expensive approach. Will you be using a twin sequential turbo set-up then to minimise lag.Different and next step really current flat4 with a gt35r without nos is about as laggy as I am willing to go but 665bhp is not enOugh lol

Out of interest would a supercharger / tubo set-up on the flat four not have given you the same results?

Thanks, I think
Dont worry, it was a compliment. I like seeing conversions like this.I haven't tried to make anything close to this fit since I was 18 and stuck a Maxi1750GT in the front of a mini shell. My mum still hasnt forgiven me for riveting her large roasting tray on top of the hole in the bonnet to cover the top of the engine.

With a pair of 350bhp turbos I hope to make 700bhp on vpower then have racefuel adnd nosOut of interest would a supercharger / tubo set-up on the flat four not have given you the same results?
No flat4 would be laggier
