JDM transmission control module reset

Does anyone know of a main dealer or independant specialist that can reset a tcm on a 2009 JDM Legacy?

I'm constantly getting people sucking through their teeth and saying no, we can't do that.

Not sure it helps but I had it done by Subaru Eaglesham up here a few years back

Thanks, I can but ask them, was that an import car or a UK spec?

It was a Legacy 2.5 GT, import

They were always helpful, but it was a few years back. Hopefully they are still on form

Unfortunately no longer something they offer, appreciate the suggestion though.

Not sure if you have tried some of the specialists like Scoobyworks already?

Im sure some of the more advanced diagnostic units would do it like the more expensive Topdon units. Some of the garages bring in specialists with those units for jobs like this

I have, just about given up, if it's not 'we don't work on automatics', it's 'not sure what that is'. One place in Essex will do it, but they need the car for a week...they're taking the wee for f's sake.
