I like it. I would be happy with that subject to inspection for rust, HPI check with Car Vertical and checking service history. Given it is a private sale then it is more likely to come with a comprehensive stack of service bills rather than the normal GDPR nonsense.

It has been well maintained by the current owner who has kept it for a long time but from the MOT history has not been using it much in the last few years. Probably because he has a main car which is automatic and only takes this out when he is in the mood.

It's original with no mods so looks good to me with the robust 2.0 engine. I think the price is right against the competition.

eta: gutted that I sold my 2005 car in 2009 for £8k with the pro-drive kit taking it to 300bhp.

Looks shiny on top but could be an absolute turd underneath.

A full underside inspection is required with any subaru of that era. They like to rot from the inside out. Its too late when you see it on the outside.
