Have looked at several of these JDM imports, none of which have 2 key fobs, most of the cars have been OK and I would have bought them, had they had 2 keys, where in UK can I get one and what would be the cost?
Is it possible to get a 2nd key made in UK, the dealers were all sheepish regarding this when I asked why only one key, and why they hadn't already got a 2nd key made for the car?
Anyone else had this problem and managed to get it sortedsmile

Timpson’s can copy your key immobiliser for 60 £ or so , they can’t copy your lock unlock part of the key fob , then buy a cat 1 alarm , a lot of jdm cars don’t have good security, it’s often a cat 2 that may not be thatcham approved , so a cat 1 is a bit of a must , option two some one on face book can make you a fully working key for around 150£ but you still don’t have good security so not the way i would do it

Thanks for that, I don't want a 'work around' - i want a proper 2nd working key - If I can't get one made then I won't buy that model of carfrown

As soon as I've dug out the manual I'm going to order some new keys from this outfit.
