If it's clean underneath then not a bad buy. I really liked my BH5 GTB. Not much else around for the same money that delivers the same mix of space, performance, traction and character. I prefer these to the later 6-cylinder models.

Does look clean but for that sort of money I'd be looking at a later gen 4 twinscroll I think?

If you can get past the looks you can get a 5th gen for the same amount(ish)....

These are becoming rarer, great value considering the pace you get, and most JDM cars were auto.

One of the best cara I've ever owned.

Although mine was £650 nearly 10 years ago.

Ditto i have had 4 and now on a 4th gen Twinscroll, cracking cars and most people dont know what they are.

I'd look for a gen 4, even though fewer parts are shared with the Impreza and upgrades are harder to do. The twin turbos are lot more complicated and at this age that can be a pain to maintain
