Anyone on PH own one or have previous experience of owning one? I'm considering one as my next car and would love to pick the brains of a fellow PHer.

I don’t know if we can mention other forums ? scoobynet has a fairly active following on cars for sale or advice , there is also stuff on facebook ( which i don’t use i’m too old school lol) plus there’s always loads of stuff on line

Scoobynet is dead but Type-RA.com has a number of very active GR Spec C owners.

I never get the impression that one has more traffic than the other. They both have ~20 threads updated in the last 24hours for example.

Speak to the guys at TGT. They always have them in stock. Maybe a new feature on these guys would go down well too on the forum main page.

Thanks for the suggestion – they're definitely on my shortlist for a potential importer and I keep a keen eye on their stock. Would like to talk to an owner first but will almost certainly be calling TGT as well!

Not just yet - I’ve had a couple of kind offers to drive 20th anniversary JDM cars although I’m not sure how they differ from a Spec C, but might be driving one of them soon anyway to see what they’re like.
