Subaru specialists in or near Wilts

Hi all. Got a fairly modded P1 that is having a few electrical niggles. I've tried a few things but out of my depth now so looking for a localish specialist to have a nosey. Hopefully to track down this fault, do a service and general inspection / tidy up to get it back enjoying the road.

Any recommendations? even better if they can collect as I'll have to trailer it otherwise.

depending on where you are subaru4u not far away , give len a call , my first thing would be find a good auto electrician near to you then subaru after but have a chat with Len

how far is Plymouth from you? If you can get the car there I'd recommend Enginetuner. Not sure if they collect, but you can always look into getting a company to take the car there for you.

If you'd rather have someone come to you instead of drive out, may be worth having a chat to Tim Farmer of SUBBUS (07880661866). He's based out towards East Anglia so does add a charge for coming longer distances, but when he quoted me for an engine rebuild it still came out less than local specialist garages. May not be cost effective for smaller jobs, but always worth asking

Subaru4you are in Newbury. No idea of their exact skills but the name sounds promising.
David Hendry might still have some knowledgeable people
I'm sure I read of a fairly well known Impreza tuner in Swindon but I can't find any evidence of this at all!
Might be a few years back I suppose. I'll keep looking..

In case this is still live I would speak to Adrian at Pitstop Motors 01666 824084 near Tetbury they are local-ish, Adrian used to be the senior mechanic at David Hendry in Malmesbury who were good independent Subaru and TVR specialists. Adrian knows his stuff and if he can't help, will point you in the right direction.

It is still live, I'm being crap at getting round to sorting this out!

Thanks for the suggestion. He may have well have worked on my old Impreza at some point then, used to use David Hendry for servicing and repairs when I had my Jap import and local main dealers wouldn't touch it.
