Wifes blob sti (2004) has BCR coilovers ;

ride height is too low, but the BCRs are seized solid & won't budge - even my local garage couldn't budge them.

Don't want to spend a fortune, and Tein appear to be good VFM

Any one have first hand experience of them ?

Tein are quite good , my sti jdm wagon had a set on them , the height you can adjust dampening you could not , but tein got the dampening just right and not too firm , i also have a set on my Fsti , they are the dampening and height adjustable ones they work fine , the good thing about Tein is you get them delivered for free in a few days or can pick them up from milton keynes if you are local , bc are also good but the last time i ordered a set i waited 3 to 4 weeks for delivery , the best i have had were blitz but they are expensive , but you can’t go wrong with bc or tein

You get what you pay for. You'd be better off on stock than a lot of cheap coilovers.

in my case sti stock suspension v Tein if you want an improvement in handling then you will notice an improvement with Tein, for not a lot of money , as you already have coilovers obviously you get a firmer ride with coilovers
