Hi, hoping you guys can help me out.

I'm in the process of installing a classic GC8 Impreza rack into a TVR. Please pardon the sacrilege. Take heart from the knowledge that the donor car was killed by someone else and the rack will at least live on, having been rescued from a Nottingham drugs and slappers den.

This is a tried and tested conversion but I'm having a problem with the alignment of the rack in the TVR. The high pressure supply connection fouls on the TVR chassis, where for other people who have done this there is more clearance. We're talking about this:

vs. in my case:

Everything is the same, so either the rack or the chassis is different.

Question: do you know where I can find a list of suburu rack part numbers and the specs. I'm starting to think I may have the wrong rack. It's from a classic GC8 Impreza but I don't know which variant. The part number on the sticker is 34110 FA082, whereas the part no. in the top photo is 34110 FE060. Clearly they're different, the question is how different and in what way.

I would like to think the pinion housing position and the castings etc were kept the same throughout the 92-01 production run, and its the TVR chassis that is a couple of mm out. Which is more likely!

I'd also like to confirm the gearing and lock-lock turns are the same...
