As the wife and I are expecting in March my three door Fiesta has to go. I've always wanted an Impreza (thanks to Colin McRae), and I have seen they have ISOFIX. I don't want a classic as I live in the ULEZ zone so they're out, and I don't want a 2.5 Hawkeye either.

Down at Mamas and Papas today and looking to get a Joie iSpin (https://uk.joiebaby.com//product/i-spin-360/), which is ISOFIX but also states it doesn't fit in some cars. They checked the fitment guide and the 2001 - 2006 Imprezas aren't listed - probably because they're an old, niche car so not exactly top of their list compared to a Qashqai or Zafira!

So is anyone using one of these or other i-Size car seats that folk would recommend?

Thanks folks

My 2005 WRX STI had isofix, I had two kid seats in the back.

My 2002 Bugeye has ISOFIX, as does my 2005 Blobeye. The 2002 isn't listed by a lot of child seat manufacturers simply because they haven't physically fitted a seat. So it's excluded from the compatibility list because it hasn't been confirmed that ISOFIX works.

I'd suggest all Newage models have rear ISOFIX mounting points (but not rear anchorage points).

Having purchased a 2004 Blobeye WRX saloon, I tried this down Mamas and Papas today and confirm it fits. I was quite pleased as it provided my justification for purchasing a Subaru in the first place...
