I wonder if anyone knows of vehicle registration YR05 LZO (Red WRX Wagon), link below.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-Wagon-WR...

I am considering buying, however the dealer has no history, and struggling to make contact with the previous owner. So I am told, the previous owners have owned the vehicle from new, and were from the Lake District area.

Long shot I know!

End of the day it’s only £3k, which isn’t much for a 2 owner Wagon from a dealer.

Mot history looks pretty good, but I’d be having a good look underneath to make sure you’re not in for a welding world of pain in the near future.

When was the cam belt last done? Due every 3 years.

I will repeat what has already been said but check for rust very carefully.

Agree, it looks like it has been taken care of, SL as well with leather heated seats and sunroof, but I though cambelt was every 5 years / 40k on newage?.

Mileage aside that looks like a very clean original example.

It's also one of the last blobeyes made with red calipers and facelift interior.

Echo comments above around cambelt. From my experience owning one a couple of years ago brake calipers are prone to seizing (particularly rear) and shock absorbers do fail regularly (knocking sound).

You could be right, I just assumed the same as Classic. It'll be a bonus as 2 of my cars will have a 5 year cambelt life biggrin

It's 5 years or 50,000 miles for a blobeye, whatever comes first as far as I am aware.
