I need to source a front or rear wheel bearing/hub unit (once I've worked out which on it is!).

Prices seem to be all over the place - can anyone recommend the cheapest source?

Cheers

Partsouq plus import taxes around 30 percent , Megazip is a good way of finding the part number due to diagrams , or if you are looking uk wise then import car parts plus good knowledge around subaru’s

Importcarparts would be my first stop: https://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts?cat=96&...

The bearings are part of the hub on gen4's, in case you didn't know. You buy the whole hub with the bearing as part of it.

Yep, was aware they are a unit (see my post).

I've had stuff from ICP before, however they are expensive for hubs in comparison to other sources probably because they supply OEM or equivalent.

I don't really need OEM on a 10 year old car as the value is not in it to justify the investment. I may take my chance with Ebay units at around £55.

I put a pair of FAG bearings on my Outback - think they will be the same for your Legacy.

You get a new hub nut & 4 new mounting bolts which is handy. 2 of the 4 are pretty difficult to get access to - needed a 3/8 extension with a wobble 14mm socket to squeeze through the access hole in the suspension arm. An impact gun got them off easily though. Some videos on youtube to help. Remove ABS sensor first or you`ll damage it!
Good luck with it.

Thanks Julian,

That's great - ICP want £20 for the bolts alone and I figured I will have to replace them too (nothing seems to rust like Legacy hardware).

Order placed!
