I get a brake shudder every now and then but abs light comes on and brakes are perfect. I have put the code reader in and there is no faults showing anybody got any clues what could be causing it

Sorry are you saying Abs light does come on ? pads and discs last changed when? , sometimes judder is a build up of crud on pads discs from too light a braking so go get them warm and give them some stick assuming the brakes are stopping ok , if abs light is coming on , is fluid level ok ? is abs pump starting to fail ?are connections to abs pump or sensors ok , worth thinking of a change of brake fluid , im slightly surprised of judder and abs light on

Rear brake disc and pads changed a few months ago with fluid and fronts have been an for a while but still enough pad left especially that they are ebc yellow stuff pads. The abs light comes on after about 5 minutes of driving and braking which judder now and then within that 5 mins and like i said before once abs light comes on brakes are perfect just a strange one

I had redstuff they were not good , i bought the cheap pagid ones from Eurocarparts and they were a lot better , re bleed the whole system following the correct order , unless abs pump is activating then i’m thinking judder and ads light on are not the same issue, the judder could be rears bedding in or fronts starting to wear out , did you check the inside pad of the front pads as they always seem to wear more , when you put on rear discs did you throughly clean hub to disc contact area
