Only 16 UK cars? I worked with a guy that owned one of them brand new, along side a U.K. Red TME Evo.

Not really. They're all worth the same regardless of which market they entered. Obviously totally dependant on condition - a rusty high mileage 22B is not going to be worth £100k.

UK ones are worth slightly more, but given the scarcity of all of them the difference is now minimal.

I know someone that cashed out at £25k and has been kicking himself ever since.

I remember them being £25k very well. Was a long time ago, but even then I knew it'd be a great investment if I'd had the money. I just didn't have it though, so a very good example of 'got to have money to make money' <sigh>

People are obviously expecting them to be in the £85-100K mark at the moment. Seen a few in the Jap auctions recently around that figure, one didn't sell as it didn't meet reserve of about £75k. Seen another one recently, been parked up for 10 years or so only had about 3k miles on it and they wanted well over £120K!

I'm gutted as when I bought my P1 it was that or a jap 22B at the time, P1 was £16k and 22b was £25k. P1 was newer and drove better (talking 11 years ago) so went for that. Doh! P1 is still worth about what I paid for it and I love it to pieces but would be lovely if it was worth another £70K!

Still fondly remember Evo Mag / Performance Car review of 22B where they had it as being "faster than a 911". Amazing car btw and rarely seen on the road either now or back then.

That article (and a few other things...) is why I bought a 22b as soon as I could afford one.

Well I had number 325 wish I kept it but had it for over 3 years, I have been looking for one for my collection would buy one at the right price and mileage.
When working in Houston took over for a year and had a bit of fun with it, the Americans loved it.

I’d be waiting 3-4 years for the US market to open up if I had it.
