Anyone know this car
Discussion
Evening all does anyone know this car, i went to view a Lotus at this place yet someone beat me to it. Whilst i was there this Subaru caught my eye and it looked tidy. I got in touch with the engine builders asking them if they would warranty their work and they said NO. Not sure what to make of it although i do like it
Never owned a Subaru would be great if you guys could offer some advice
Thanks in advance

The engine has covered 750 miles yet rest of the car has 100k miles
I've spoken at length with the engine builders and the reason why the wont warranry their work is incase the new owner drives it hard without warming up the car etc etc
I explained have several supercars ie ferrari scuderi porsche turbo and a few others so i doubt that i will drive it hard when cold but they wont offer warranty
Would make an amazing B road car but sadly without a warranty its going to be a hard sell

You could always buy mine, it's not a hatch though. the engine issues you would read about for a 2.5 wouldn't be an issue with a car if it's had a proper rebuild.

Are you front discs on the right way? Never known f+r from the same brand to run the grooves in opposite directions.https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/...

Realise this is slightly off topic but they may actually be correct, groves don't dictate the side it's the internal vanes that do. Need to take the wheels off front and back and make sure the vanes are correct direction. Just thought that may be of interest to some.
yes, all depends on the vanes. I might have read the advert wrong in that the discs all round were AP's. if they were, they are normally machined the same for each side ( ie, f+r would both be facing the same way ). if you just have AP fronts, they might be ok if your rear discs are another make. was just an observation, not picking fault Gassing Station | Subaru | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
