Hi All,

So I am running a Subaru Legacy 2.0i 2014 model with 71000km on the clock. Next service is due at 73000km which should be in the next month given I drive 600km or so per week. The thing is, at the end of Sept the car will be back in the garage for the winter wheel swap (living in switzerland). Am i safe to go over the 73000km by 1-2000km in order to carry out both operations on the same day and keep the garage costs down??. I am meticulous in the maintaining of the servicing intervals on this thing hence my question which apologies if it sounds overly pedantic.

Many thanks

I wouldn't be concerned about pushing the service by that sort of margin, inevitably you will have some years when you do more distance than others but as long as you are getting the car serviced every year it should be fine (my experience from having a number of Subarus over the years is that they are very well engineered machines, capable of a lot more abuse than most owners subject them to!).

That seems to be the consensus with anyone I have spoken too also. Thanks for the input and taking the trouble to reply.
