French subaru specialists

Evening.
Missus and I are having a bit of a road trip through France. Taking my Forester STI and a shiny new credit card with a large limit for super unleaded.
Wondering if anyone knows of any Subaru specialists in France just in case something goes awry as I doubt Le Halfords will stock spare parts for a queer Japanese import.
Didn't know whether to post here or in the international PHers forum so done both. Hope that's OK, mods.

Unfortunately my French is "bof" so can't understand a lot of it. Was wondering if some bright spark had a made a directory or whatever. It's had a service recently so should be fine but want to have some bases covered.
Not sure if I took it to Subaru they'd really know what to do with it. Specialist independants might be more use like they are here. Ta though.

I wouldn't build your hopes up too much, I need to get spares ordered in advance to my local UK garage for anything slightly non-service on a lowly WRX, never mind an STi.
My one and only experience in France near Bordeaux with a poorly car was in a Discovery.......all seemed to be going well until they discovered it was a V8, not an oil burner. That threw them completely and the options were recovery to the UK or limp back with a shot dizzie. In true PH fashion, I drove it home!
Have to say RAC were an excellent voice of support through the process.
Nothing to worry about anyway, it's a Subaru!

OP, I take my FXT to the Alpes 2-3 times a year. It's in tiptop condition so never misses a beat. However, I take logical precautions before each trip by giving the car a thorough check over including all fluids and take spare preferred spare oil Millers Cfs 10w40, plus a do most things tool kit. Knowing you've given the car a thorough check over and clean inside and out gives a good feeling of confidence. If anything happened to the FXT in France I would not send it to a French Subaru Garage, I'd hire a car to finish the holiday, get the car back home on a transporter that will be covered by the/your insurer and then find another way back home to Blighty. This just my preference as have had experience of so-called French mechanics...they're generally very poor.
Thanks to all for your help and advice. We did 2,350 miles over two weeks and the only issue encountered was a knock from the rear near-side corner at low speed - suspecting ball joint or drop link or something. Other than that it was faultless. Well, apart from the crap stereo and too-small fuel tank. Thanks again!
