Impreza wheel sizes.

Getting a bit of a headache trying to read conflicting posts about wheel sizes..

I'm looking at getting a set of Team Dynamics 1.2's, my car is an '02 WRX.

Realistically, what is the size range I can go to, for a standard fitment? By that I mean straight swap, I don't want to muck about with arch rolling.

Also, am I right in saying a standard WRX wheel size is 17x7, ET55?

6.5 x 16 et53. 205/55/R16 is standard size.

For the classic shape though right? OEM wheels for newage Imprezas are 17"

Basically, I'm trying to find out if I can get away with an offset of 45, with a 17x7 wheel and stock suspension. I'm 90% sure it'll be ok, but it'll be an expensive mistake and there's lots of mis-matched infomation online, what with the US sites.

Sorry. Think USDM are the above. UK ones 7x17 with 215/45/R17 ???

Yup

I ran mine up to a 225/40/18 with a 7.5J RIM - which is hardly pushing it from standard.

find a set of sti 17 inch rims 225 should be fine , some cars vary as what they can take size wise i personally would go no more than 225

Settled with 17x7.5 ET45 Team Dynamics 1.2 - in a nice gloss anthracite.
