fault code PO545 issue
Discussion
Hi all
My 2002 WRX threw out a CEL code (ironically just as I was getting the car ready for sale as I have a forester now!). Anyway it has come up with PO545 code which is "exhaust gas temp low (bank 1)" So I googled it and found it was likely to be s faulty sensor and it can be bypassed with a 2.2 ohm resistor into the EGT sensor (male side) so anyway I did this but no change! I am stuck! Any other options?
many thanks
Paul

yeah I would do but I am not sure that the senor is faulty if when I do the resistor mod the light is still on? thinking it could be the wiring into the male connector that is faulty! this all assuming I have the right connector!
god I hate electronics! car is running fine.........just a bloody light on the dash!
Cheers Paul
