Put my WRX Wagon on a dyno today (thanks circuit motors) and other than a mild map (16psi) Prodrive back box and updated fuel pump, she made 267bhp at 6000rpm and 250lb/ft.
Pretty good for 125,000 miles I thought! It was abit of a dog when I bought it and it's not cost the earth to bring up to spec.
I'm lucky enough to have an Alpina D3 Biturbo estate and a TVR Tuscan, but the scooby is still an experience to drive. Love it!!

Randomly goes into limp mode, but this will be investigated at some point.

Impressive, just goes to show that mileage on these engines does not necessarily equate to a loss of power.

Mine was a bit rough around the edges when I got it, hadn't been serviced for almost 2 years and like you say it doesn't cost a fortune to put them right. Decent oil, quality service items and a full fluid / cambelt kit / belt change plus a couple of parts (sensor / inner driveshaft boots) still gave me change from £800 and apart from the oil & plugs, nothing needs doing for 5 years.

I'd be interested in putting mine on a dyno, it's got a PPP, but from what I've read the PPP maps aren't that fantastic but if I managed to get anywhere near your figures I'd be more than chuffed.
