Subaru garage recommendations - Glasgow area

Hi there, just looking for a garage to do some diagnostic work on my 04 SG Forrester as the engine management light has come on. It's nothing fancy so not looking for a rally specialist, just wanting to get it sorted and maybe find somewhere to do some other work at some point in the future. I use Owen Ferry in Paisley for my M3 and her car, but he concentrates more on German stuff.

On the hand, if anyone can recommend a diy'er code reader that a home mechanic could get, that might also be a possibilit too.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try Central Garage in Johnstone, Sandy is the main man but he has a couple of mechanics who own Subaru and are very knowledgeable

Failing that speak to Ross McPhail at Eaglesham Motors

A friend who is an ex subaru technician works as a mechanic here
