Stuck starter solenoid?

2005 WRX with 45k on the clock. Not used the car for three weeks and the battery went flat as the alarm drains a lot of power and I'd left it on which I don't normally as its garaged. Battery recharged and fuel pump whirring away but getting a click when I try to engage the starter. Could the solenoid have stuck or could it be more serious. Any suggestions?

Hit starter motor and solenoid with a bit of wood , see if that frees it up , is it definitely getting enough power and is the battery ok ?

Thanks. It's back to normal now the battery is fully charged and starts ok. Usually I'd just stick my powerpack on and it would fire up first time but I guess this time it got really low and not even the powerpack could coax it back into life.
