Hi guys,

I'm in the process of buying a Forester XT, 2006 with 67,000 miles. SK06 SZV.

It's got a small white pistonheads sticker on the back window so I thought I would post up and see if anyone recognised it and try to dig up some history.

hmmm, will look back, it may have been one of mine. I have priced it in 2013 when it had 53000 miles on it. it looks like it might have been a Shetland car, deffo familiar, will look back to see when or if it was in stock.

it last changed hands in april 2013 and I valued it in January.

Ah, found it, yup, I sold it to a local lad, he traded in his old e39. it had a new clutch fitted whilst with us. when we took it in to stock it had 4 service stamps in the service book up to 31,000 miles, we will have then done it before sale. I *think Wallace performance had this one in to map out? the cold start valve things...but cant be 100%

was a nice car and the chap came and bought another car for his mrs a years or so ago, so that would indicate he was happy enough with it. shame it misses the cheap tax bracket by a day though!!
I think I might know its previous owner too, George I believe, he now runs a WRX

Alright man, good info thanks very much.

It's not on 67000 miles and I've just put a deposit on it.

Doing the brakes discs, pads and 4 pots on the front. Discs and pads on the rear. Braided hoses and new fluid.

Nokian WRA3 winter tyres and whiteline 22mm rear ARB before I pick it up.

Future plans for remap and exhaust but nothing too mental.
