2004 Impreza STI Key
Discussion
Keys can be cut in loads of places the issue is the fob for the alarm.
There's a guy on Scoobynet - Mr Toad who can supply a fob for about £20, honestly programming it to the alarm takes seconds.
I was quoted about that from my local dealer to replace a key for the wife's last car.
Apparently the big problem is coding them i was told, his look changed when i opened the glove box and took out the paperwork for the alarm - including how to re-code keys/fobs, etc. I asked what their hourly rate was and why would take them over 3 hours to press a few buttons on a key pad!
The alarm code stuff used to be available on the Scoobypedia pages on the SIDC web site.
