looking for a replacement for our impreza that is a bit bigger. This would fit the bill but it seems 25% more expensive than anything else on the market. Is there any obvious reason?

Much better overall car and a manual spec-b is very rare. Strong money on that though and DH will do a deal. Good to see them importing again and they're a very nice bunch of people to buy from as I did with my last STI. I would not pay more than 11.5 for that though but it is streets away from an Impreza in quality.

Thanks VED. One or two similar responses on scoobynet. I'm off to look at something else this weekend but I may have a look as DH aren't that far away. Depends how the w/e goes.

perhaps this is a good alternative, if you dont want to stretch the budget to much: http://link.marktplaats.nl/m953965279

i know it is in the netherlands but this car is advertised for some time over here and the price is stil dropping.. it has previously been imported to the UK by prodrift perhaps they can tell you in what shape the car is.

The DH car is well overpriced from what I can see!

I ran one of these for 4 years, fantastic car, probably the best 'every day' car I have ever had.

If you're already pretty interested in one, I wouldn't bother looking at anything else! smile
