2004 legacy outback 3.0
Discussion
Hi
I looked at a 3.0 outback today. 2004 - 68000 miles. The bodywork was good for a car of this age. However I noticed that the springs inside each front wheel arch and the brake calipers and discs seemed pretty corroded. The y part of the exhaust didn't have a hole in it or made any noise but the whole exhaust seemed corroded also. Is this normal and something I should expect on this model and age? It drove well apart from it revved a bit from a standing start at junctions etc ( this might have been me getting used to it after driving my w124 to see it).
Any help much appreciated. It was the first time I'd driven one. It was very quiet and comfortable .
