I like the look of this facelift and the improved interior http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/subaru/outback#
Yes, and the reviews from the US an Australia are good. The current one is OK, good handling but an old feeling interior and looks few could like. The new one seems to be a genuine improvement.
.... However the lack of a more powerful engine has put me off. Rest of world gets a 3.6l 6 cylinder and China seems to be getting a 2.0 litre turbo (the Forrester XT engine). I have no interest in diesel and NA engines lose a lot of power at altitude (I'm Swiss based so drive unto 2500m above sea level). The current european engines are relaxing but not really powerful enough.

The Top Gear review is very positive.

I would prefer a more powerful option though.
My 3.0Rn would leave the new one well behind.
I may look at a 2011 3.6 soon. Going for sub £15k now.
