Hi,
Just a quickie, my 07 Hawkeye WRX has developed a split in the centre section where the pipe joins the CAT. I'm looking to replace with perhaps a secondhand bit, or if needs be a new one. I've decided to keep the car standard for the time being as I'm doing so little mileage in it (less than 3k last year).

Questions:

Are the centre sections on the Hawks different from the other New Age?. From what I've seen the CATS in the mid section of the Hawks are larger and longer than their blob counterparts.

Also, I can't find a source online for a new price. Are they OEM only then?.

If anyone has a second hand one in reasonable nick they want to sell, drop me a line.

Cheers
Pete

I think they are the same for newage cars.

I would ring your local specialist. Paul at Extreme Scoobies got me a second hand standard downpipe with no fuss.

Cheers Paul, I'll make some calls come Monday. Actually if Paul at Extreme has one it'll save me a job, as the car will be visiting him again in the near future for Clutch replacement. Be able to kill 2 birds in one then (he might even do me a deal smile

BTW How's that awesome STI of yours coming along?.

Cheers
Pete

Coming along fine. New suspension and turbo planned for after the summer!

I think I saw one outside Paul's yesterday when I went for an oil change.
