Went to look at another car today and the owner had a P1 which he was thinking about selling. I've always loved these and after a test drive was really impressed. I would be using it as a second car to replace a classic TVR. What are the values like just now and could I expect depreciation if I bought at a competitive price?

Good condition P1's do hold there value quite well, not a swell as a 22b! (the grail of Subaru value retention) but still very well next to other models in the range.

P1 values have been at 6k for a ropey, high mileage one and 12k for a minter for years now with anything inbetween.

No reason to see why this would change any time soon. If anything they might start creeping up.

Finding good, near standard, low mileage cars is hard and those are expensive. Dogs are well below £5k and there is a good selection around the 7-8k mark.

Awesome cars smile
