Evening all!

Just spent four hours driving home my new (2nd hand car). It's an '03 WRX PPP wagon and I LOVE it.

It's everything I was expecting and more! The acceleration is awesome, as is the grip. I'm addicted to the engine note, exhaust note and turbo whistle.

Dave, thanks mate, I know you didn't want to get rid of it but it's gone to a good home.

Roll on some Essex B road blasts in the morning.

Very nice - is that a JDM bonnet scoop?

Got any more pics?

Well the garage that the previous owner bought it from said it's an STI bonnet scoop....certainly looks bigger than stock but I like it. They also put on the STI wheels and mud guards.

When they rebuilt the gearbox at 97k I'm also starting to think they installed a lightweight flywheel as it revs up seriously quickly and really doesn't like pottering about in 4th gear. I'm more than happy with that though. The look on the missus face as I dropped it into 2nd for full boost was a peach this morn. She's not ever been in a proper FI car before. Definitely better acceleration than my old Boxster S!

Cheers Dave.

Yeah, the drive back and today's blast hasn't helped with the wheel scum! Weather's not saying much either, wish I had a garage! frown

Nothing a good jetting won't sort next weekend! smile
