Turbo 2000 prodrive ecu upgrade kit
Discussion
Recently bought a 1999 model turbo 2000 wagon as a winter runner in standard form, with exception of silly dump valve, green cone filter and roger clark rear exhaust system.
Idea was just to run it as it is, but i think the boost bug is biting a little, and seeing as there is a prodrive kit for sale im wondering if this is the safest way to put a few more horses into it.
Is this just a case of plug and play, and how do i tell if i have the correct parts for my year.
Cheers

No idea how you'd check it's the right ecu for that model year, maybe email prodrive with the serial no.
On mine I seem to remember it was simply a case of plugging in the new widget & doing an ECU reset, although it did require a new MAF sensor (or I may have got away with cleaning it, I can't remember).

Job done,
Simple enough task, prodrive ecu fitted, (yes they plug straight in and run with no problem) plus the prodrive / samco uprated intercooler pipe, exhaust is already a full de cat system and ive binned the HKS cone filter and replaced with original airbox and panel filter and installed good quality boost gauge.
Drives a lot better, less snatchy power delivery with more midrange grunt, a lot less dump valve and turbo noise, now you can hear the flat four engine noise more.
Boost is consistant, was 0.9 bar before, now 1.0 bar and makes full boost from just over 2000 rpm.
Well recommended upgrade for a classic turbo.
