Central locking question
Discussion
I am seriously considering buying an impreza turbo on Friday but have just been tod the remote locking doesn't work.. Only the central locking via key and immobiliser. Has anyone had experience of this and if so is it an easy thing to fix or indeed anything to worry about.
Thanks for any advice

Hello all
Just joined as I have very recently (after a LONG time looking) become the proud owner of a 2004 WRX wagon and I thought it might be nice to get involved. So far, car has been a revelation. Literally made me laugh out loud one way or another every time i've driven it. Fantastic.
Anyway I have the same problem (in fact I wonder if I have bought the car you were looking at?), only problem with the car is the previous owner only had one key. This worries me and I want to get it sorted soon - can anyone tell me how easy/expensive it is?
Thanks....

I think it said 2.0l turbo?....... It definitely didn't mention wrx... It's in the post to dvla at moment.
So, I had the wheels changed in which are on quite old tyres so the ride is a bit harder than before, as expected, and today I've had it over a pit to inspect under the engine, running gear etc. so far I'm chuffed to bits and I seem to have bought a solid specimen and am still smiling. The exhaust has cleaned up nice so now looking and sounding great.
Next step is to figure out the wiring from the head unit to try and understand spaghetti junction and magic into sound!

I asked due to the UK bumper (no. plate) and fog light below it.
Good spot. If someone went to the bother of fitting STi lights, you'd think they would have done the fog light conversion.Fluffy - if you are changing head unit, consider an adapter. They are not expensive and will save you loads of hassle working out the wiring.
With regards to e uk number plate and rear fog..... There is a holder underneath for the 'square type plates and the fog seems to have been fitted afterwards as well... Although the rear fog doesn't work so not sure what's going on there. Would anyone know if rear fog not working is an MOT fail or not??
