Yesterday the aux-belt snapped on the 3.0R (it's a chain-cam so no worries) - and the top/centre pulley was looking wobbly so I took it off and the bearing has eaten itself.

1) The aux-belt is probably a 6PK1590

is there a manufacturer to choose or avoid? Gates seems to be easy to source

or SKF?

or Flennor?

or Serpentine?

2) the pulley bearing - what make and where do I source that from please?

For instance - exactly which bearings as there are a few to choose from!!!

Should I choose SKF as above?

Thanks!

I recommend Dayco Kits. They are very high quality and built to last. I fitted Dayco kits to my diesel Jag and diesel Surf 4x4, and they are excellent.
