Hello all.

Mrs Megy has just got a new forester which has the keyless entry and we are unsure how it is meant to work. At the moment we press the button on the door handle and it unlocks just the drivers door (or passenger if that handles button is pressed). We have read through the manual as we were expecting this to unlock all the doors, which the manual seems to confirm, with an option to switch it at a suitable dealers service department to how it currently is. We have just been to a dealer to inquire about switching it back to default but they said that as it currently is is how it has to be.

Can anyone confirm whether this is a selectable option and whether we are reading the manual correctly and that the default setting is that it will unlock all doors. If so, does it have to be done at a main dealer or is there a user menu that's available.

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer.
