So, my P1 has 215/45 R 17 wheel size.

What does everyone recommend. I have had Eagle F1s for the last 2 years (i do next to no miles a year) and they have been great.

However, now are the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's better?

Or perhaps the Bridgestone RE050 A?

Pirelli P Zero Nero perhaps?

Michelin Pilot Sport 3?

Anyone got any experience what is best? They will be for all year round, but mainly dry focus, i don't get out to country lanes much in the wet or snow!!

Let's hear some opinions.....

Lost count now the numbers of scoobs I've had an always put the GSD3 Eagle F1s on them too .
When I got my latest scoob 6 months ago I immediately fitted Asymmetric 2s ( replaced REO50s).
Only done 2000 miles on them but they seem really good esp in the wet .. if anything less tyre/road noise and economy hasn't suffered which I think were the only gripes with the old GSD3s .. never heard a bad word said about them smile
Past experiences .. Michelin PS3 were ok thought a bit soft and didn't last
REO50A s was the OE tyre-choice of the Blobeyes .. good tyre
Pirelli P Zero Nero - Came on my bug STi .. hated them..poor grip!

Hope that helps.

Can't do much better than the good old RE070 for outright dry performance if you're not using it in the wet much.

Thanks for your input Steve, to be honest that cements my thoughts.

I reckon the Asymmetric 2's are the way to go as I love the confidence the eagles give me in the wet and standing water currently. So the best of both sounds like a good option.

Cheers
