I as many others had to replace my rear suspension on my stock 05 wagon.

I took the car to Datum motor sport and my words the boys have done good!

I replaced the std springs for Eibach springs, replace the std shocks with Camskil ones, then got all four wheels aligned and camber changed for fast road.

Whilst there i also added a Prodrive back box and new Ferodo as 2500 front pads.

The car now handles, sounds and stops so well

It's like a new car

I am very impressed with the guy's knowledge and work.

The rear end always felt a bit disjointed but now it's planted and the handling and stopping power has been greatly improved now.........Power!.

Now after cheap power tweaks with in or around £300, any ideas welcome!

£300 will get you an opensource remap bud biggrin

Have you changed/ modified anything else apart from the backbox?

Well I rang scooby world and they said that would be £1300 for a remapping and replacing down pipe.
But as I have a wagon I am concerned that removing the down pipe cat will mean Lots of cabin noise, as there is no boot to reflect the sound.

As the car is standard so I was thinking a cheeky remap would be gd, but they said with out removing the cat's I would not gain any power!?!?

Is that right?

I'm paying that and a bit more to give my forester a kick up the @rse next week. The place I've gone to only recommends an Ecutec remap. I'll let you know if the decat makes it too noisy!

You can DIY gut your standard uppipe (before the turbo) and scrubber cat after the main turbo leaving the main cat in place. Buy yourself a high flow K&N or green panel air filter (in fact i have a used K&N here that just needs a proper clean and re-greasing), and £300 will just buy you a remap depending on who you go to. wink
