So as many before me, my rear suspension has given up and looking at installing new shocks and springs at the same time (already a post re options)
I was also looking at up grading the drop links and anti roll bar at the same.

I have a 2005 wagon and I believe that would make a big difference.

I am looking at white line roll bar 20mm and drop links from Aztec

Any thoughts ?!?

I stuck a cheap set of Ali drops on my wagon - Made a big difference to the cornering experience. Don't need to spend a fortune on these, very basic tech. Spend more on shocks/springs (drop it by 30mm, makes a huge difference!!)

By droplinks I think you are referring to "endlinks" as we refer to them in the states. Yes, the better ones do make a bit of a difference. The better versions here go for about $110US. They do help and they do wear, so, if you are replacing the suspension I'd change them too. Like the other poster spend the money on the shocks!

If the originals aren't worn at the bearing ends and they don't bend in operation, then they're performing 100% and no after-market one will improve upon that.

I had a Bugeye WRX for almost 8 years, after around 60k miles the front end seem to feel a bit sloppy, one of the standard plastic droplinks had snapped in two so the front roll bar was not connected on the near side! For the price of some decent droplinks such as Whiteline, Perrin or CDF, it's well worth upgrading them IMO.

Add a 24mm rear ARB and a 22mm front ARB, an ALK and a decent gerometry setup, the improvements made a massive difference on road and track! Add some Eibach springs to the mix and you will have a really good handling car for all occasions, after that it's a slippery slope down the coil-over route, braces, diff mounts, tie bars, then uprated brakes, turbo, FMIC, the list is endless..........
