New tyres, refurb the wheels at the same time?

Small dilemma. The tyres on my Legacy GTB will need replacing before winter comes but do I go the whole hog and get the wheels refurbed at the same time? The cars only worth <1000 which makes spending 500 quid on it difficult. Having said that I plan to keep it a while.

Decisions decisions.

Either buy some 2nd hand wheels in good nick with reasonable tyres on or just buy your new tyres and sod the wheels!!

Have a look on some of the subaru forums. I picked up a set of wheels in great condition for only £100. Pretty decent tyres on 2 of them too.

Shame they're getting taken off for winter tyres soon.
