I'm looking at getting a N/A BH5 wagon to complement my WRX here in NZ that looks nice enough, but its got circa 300,000kms (185,000miles) on it.

I was wondering what peoples experiences of these cars were. Americans seem to ring mega miles out of them, NZ appears random, where as the car im looking at is more like the UKDM car.

Cheers anyway!

Look out for a member called GravelBen, he's a fellow Kiwi and knows his Leggies. He's the man to ask. Alternatively try Vixpy1, he's also very clued up on Leggies in the UK, knows his stuff.

ETA: I'd just like to add that your car is testament to just how reliable Subaru's are, especially non-turbo cars. 300,000Km is pretty awesome. I've no doubt if looked after as it has been it will do the same again without grumbling. Nice one!! thumbup

Had a 130,000 mile (210,000Km) Legacy spec B last year. Engine was strong and interior was all still working. It bust 1 shock absorber but the one you are looking at wont have the Bilsteins so not to worry about that.
