Usual story really. Service history, bills/receipts, vehicle condition, what's the motor like, how does it drive, any mechanical gremlins etc....

£6K doesn't sound too bad but depends on all of the above points.

I'd rather have an older STi for same or less money to be honest.

Sorry didn't make myself very clear.
I have the car, these are upgrades.

PPP/interior/wheels.

My figures are suggestions as to the costs to supply and fit. Just wondered if I was way out especially with the engine upgrades.

Sorry, misunderstood what you were requesting. My bad!!

Yes....Costings look OK for all your bits and bobs, remap etc....

Probably less if you shop around but £4K is a good budget.

£4k , don't waste your money yu'll never get it back, go for some sti interior which will cost you £400 with door cards sti steering wheel £100 and get the wheels used for £800. If your planing on spending that much money you might as well of bought an STI. £4k is a lot to blow on upgrades and the most you'll get back for them on resale is about £1200-1500

I see your point but it's a Wagon so no sti. Just looking at alternatives to a gb270. Made enquiries about a couple but either no communication or its sold so far.

Upgrading isn't about getting your money back, it's about personalising your car to suit your tastes and fit your needs. Most people accept they'll never get their money back but at least it makes their car exactly what they want it to be.

I think they call it customising and modifying. wink

I personally wouldn't want to spend that amount of money just on those 3 items but if it's what you want bud then the figures look in the right area.

You could do the remap for way less than 1.5k and get better gains than ppp if you got a few bits 2nd hand and opensource mapped your car.

Stuart,
I did send an email last week to see if it was still with you through your profile here, perhaps it didn't reach you.
At work currently, will try a bit later or tomorrow.
