A friend of mine has a P1 gear box at her house left by an ex of hers and she's looking to get rid of it. She's asked if I can help her sell it but she's no idea of the value and even if it's in full working order. Apparently it was replaced when the engine was replaced a few years ago. I guess it's now a restoration opportunity for somebody.

Looking to see what she should be asking for it and what info, people will be looking for.

It's exactly the same box as the 4dr ver 5/6 .

So not hugely rare?

Different ratios as it's a UK box, longer 5th for sure. 754's are stronger than 752's but far from rare.

UK 5 speed transmissions have 3.9 front ratio and 3.545 rear ratio with a 1.1:1 step off. No other 5 speed transmission final drive has ever been offered on a UK car [ P1 aside, as that is an STi 5 in disguise

Give you £10 for it as mine sounds like it is on the way out.

Just realised. I meant to say ver 5/6 STI 4door gearbox. That's the complete drivetrain they used for the P1.
