I've just ordered some new alloys (rota grid drift) and also need some new brakes. I've seen some pirhana discs which I'll get but looking at some mintex 1144 pads to go with them. They seem a bit expensive for pads £94.50 for fronts & £114.99 for rears. The pads are a bit less than the costs of the discs!

If anyones got some good brake pad alternatives I'm all ears.

If you can recomend some braided brake lines as well I'll love you forever. Goodrich seem to get the best reviews but brake lines are brake lines no?

cheers.

I'd go with HEL brakes lines ,they're £60-£70 for a full set and very well made with stainless banjo bolts. Fitted them to a coouple of my cars and will be going onto the subaru when I get round to brakes!

Mtech do some really good rotors, pads and all that. They machine their own rotors. I have a set on the Jag and they are excellent as well as keenly priced. Look pretty good too.

Ian Godney at Godspeed. Brakes, brake lines, pads and rotors. I'm sure they machine some of their own rotors as well plus they do Hel brake lines and Performance Friction pads, Alcon Calipers etc...

Getting some DOT 5.1 brake fluid as well.

Car will be 100% sorted then, a good feeling.
