25k will sell you mine
22b.com is great for tech stuff to do with any Subaru If you do go on look for neill think that's how he spells his username he normally knows what's about and what's for sale
SIDC will have a list of things to look for like chassis number range gearbox codes and other things

I believe Nicky Grist was selling his some time back. That would have been an awesome purchase baring in mind the motorsport/rally connection and history.
I would take my time and then some before i took the plunge. The right car at the right price is out there. All good things etc... etc...
Good luck finding your dream

I would go for a hawkeye RA-R over 22B
They are both completely different cars from different eras, and IMHO early impreza history is much more iconic and illustrious than anything in the last 10 years.I think it's fair to say that another 10yrs from now remaining 22b's will still be fetching considerably more money than RA-R's, and for good reason.
If you get the chance to buy one then do it.
And don't be afraid to use it - it's a car and meant to be used (not kept hidden away).
I believe the ex-wife has my old car sitting in a garage doing nothing but gathering dust/rotting away which is a crying shame for a fully sorted 22B (admittedly, won't be to everyones taste as it wasn't standard but still the best car I've ever owned and the only car I truly miss).
